Made for Dabbing
The main differences between shatter and Live Resin are the flavor profiles, terpene (the aromatic hydrocarbons found in cannabis) quality, texture, and consistency of the final products. The Live Resin stems from how the plant matter is cured before it is put through the extraction process. Live Resin uses fresh, frozen flowers that are taken from the grow before they have had the chance to cure and dry. Most other forms of cannabis concentrates such as shatter and wax are made from cannabis flowers that have gone through the normal drying and curing process.
We recommend using a high-quality vaporizer for the ultimate healthy enjoyment of this premium medicinal concentrate!
Dabbers and extraction artists agree that live resin has a much fresher flavor profile. According to a study done at the University of Mississippi, fresh cannabis used in live resin has higher amounts of monoterpenes compared to the other terpenes found in the plant. Monoterpenes are light terpenes responsible for the fresh floral aroma of the cannabis plant that also give the live resin its fresh fruity flavor. Comparatively, BHO made from cured flowers contains about 2 percent fewer monoterpenes than live resin.
All Alpine Concentrates begin with locally grown, organic cannabis flowers, grown with care under compliance with Prop 215. We’re committed to sustainable agriculture, and take care to source only high quality materials free of pesticides, fertilizers, and other chemicals.
We rely on the powerful combination of Supercritical Fluid Extraction (SFE) and Microwave Hydrodiffusion and Gravity (MFG) technologies to extract raw d-9 THC, cannabinoids and terpenes, which we further purify with our proprietary purification methods, removing any remaining solvent, plant material, and contaminants. Every batch is tested using state of the art High Pressure Liquid Chromatography to ensure the Concentrate meets our exacting quality standards.
The Alpine Difference
In addition to being completely solvent-free, all Alpine Concentrates are tested at a MINIMUM of 80% d-9 THC. Thanks to our state of the art processing technologies, which employ only non-toxic CO2 – found naturally in the atmosphere and able to be completely purged from the final product – as a solvent. We go one step further in purifying our products so you can be sure that when you enjoy Alpine Concentrates, you’re getting THC, CBD, cannabinoids – and nothing else. Our mission is to provide you with the cleanest way to enjoy your day.
